Landing at Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) and need a ride into the Tricity? Whether you are headed to Sector 17, Mohali Aerocity, Panchkula Sector 5, or Zirakpur VIP Road, booking with an upfront notified fare beats curb haggling — especially after a late flight.
This guide covers pickup tips, popular corridors, and how to book on 19Cabs in Chandigarh.
IXC at a glance
Chandigarh Airport serves the Tricity and nearby Punjab–Haryana towns. After baggage claim:
- Open the 19Cabs rider app on airport Wi‑Fi if you can
- Set pickup as Chandigarh Airport (IXC) and your drop sector or landmark
- Move to the app pickup kerb only when your partner is close
Peak windows (early morning departures and late evening arrivals) can mean slightly longer match times — keep a small buffer.
Popular rides from IXC
Most travellers book these corridors:
- IXC → Sector 17 / Sector 22 — city centre hotels, offices, and markets (Chandigarh city page)
- IXC → Mohali Phase 7 / Aerocity / Sector 70 — IT and residential (Mohali)
- IXC → Panchkula Sector 5 / Sector 20 — Haryana side of the Tricity (Panchkula)
- IXC → Zirakpur VIP Road / Baltana — Ambala highway hotels and apartments (Zirakpur)
- IXC → ISBT Sector 43 / Chandigarh Railway — onward buses and trains
On 19Cabs you can request bike, auto, or cab together so the first available partner can accept.
Notified fares — no surge above the table
For pickups and drops in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Zirakpur, 19Cabs follows the Chandigarh Administration notified fare table. We do not charge above that table. See the live table and rules on the Chandigarh city page.
Ola, Uber, Rapido, and InDrive aggregator licences are suspended in Chandigarh UT — read what changed and how to book, then confirm a partner is online in the app before you leave the terminal.
Tips for a smooth airport pickup
- Enter IXC + gate / kerb accurately; share the live trip link with family
- With luggage, prefer cab; solo light bags often choose auto or bike taxi
- For Mohali / Panchkula / Zirakpur drops, use the matching city page so landmarks autocomplete cleanly
- Chandigarh support: +91 80-76110687
